SERWENT strengthens its position in Norway with the acquisition of Høytrykk & Vakumteknikk AS
31 August 2026
SERWENT, a leading provider of critical infrastructure and environmental services in the Nordics, has acquired Høytrykk & Vakumteknikk AS (“HøyVak”). The acquisition adds capacity and technical expertise within SERWENT’s existing service areas and marks an important step in the group’s growth strategy for water and wastewater services.
An established player in Østfold
Founded in 2016 and based at Torp in Fredrikstad, HøyVak has built a strong position in the Østfold region. The company brings technical expertise in high-pressure jetting, sludge suction and super suction, pipe inspection and industrial cleaning, along with services such as cable exposure and the removal of tanks and septic tanks. Its primary market covers Fredrikstad, Sarpsborg, Moss and Halden, with assignments carried out across other parts of Eastern Norway as well.
Like SERWENT, HøyVak operates a 24-hour emergency service and serves customers in both the public and private sectors. The agreement also includes the subsidiary Østfold Brønnspyling AS. Through the acquisition, SERWENT can offer an even broader range of services and benefit from synergies in operations, technology and shared resources.
Looking ahead to the partnership
“We are proud to welcome HøyVak to SERWENT. They bring a strong brand in their region, deep technical expertise and dedicated employees who will strengthen our offering across Norway,” says Rune Kristiansen, Country Manager, SERWENT Norway.
“We look forward to continuing HøyVak’s good work with the support of a larger group, and to creating even more value and more sustainable solutions for our customers together,” says Jonas Kristiansen, Managing Director of Høytrykk & Vakumteknikk AS.
Operations continue as before
The acquisition has now been completed, and HøyVak becomes part of SERWENT’s Norwegian division while retaining its established name, its office at Torp and its current operations. Going forward, the two companies will work closely together to make use of shared resources, further develop the customer offering and strengthen both logistics and technology.
Built on shared values
SERWENT’s culture and decisions are guided by three fundamental principles — and the acquisition of HøyVak is a clear example of them in practice:
- Courageous — We act with clarity and determination. We take responsibility, make decisions and move quickly when it matters.
- Caring — Safety comes first. We care about our people, our customers and the consequences of our work. Collaboration and professional development are central to everything we do.
- Reliable — We act with integrity, transparency and accountability. Our customers rely on our expertise, dependability and long-term commitment.
With HøyVak on board, SERWENT is even better positioned to live up to these values, throughout Norway.
