SERWENT signs agreement to acquire Swoosh Group AB

12 August 2026

SERWENT has entered into an agreement to acquire Swoosh Group AB, one of Sweden’s largest providers of underground infrastructure maintenance services. Following the transaction, the Group will have combined annual revenues of approximately NOK 2.5 billion and operations across Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Two businesses covering different parts of the map

Swoosh has a nationwide presence with a particularly strong position in northern Sweden. SERWENT is strongest in central Sweden, where relining and specialist services are the core of the business. The overlap between the two is limited, so what customers will notice is a wider service offering and a stronger local presence.

Over many years, Swoosh has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services including drain cleaning, high-pressure jetting, vacuum excavation, sludge suction, CCTV inspection, industrial cleaning, relining and canal sealing. Together, SERWENT and Swoosh will form one of the Nordic region’s most comprehensive platforms for Underground Infrastructure Maintenance.

“This is a strategically very important acquisition for SERWENT. Swoosh and SERWENT complement each other in a way that strengthens both businesses. We gain a broader competence base, greater geographic reach and even better opportunities to continue developing our service offering. At the same time, I am delighted to welcome Swoosh’s employees to the SERWENT family. It is the people, the culture and the combined expertise that make this acquisition so significant.”

What it means for customers

For municipalities, utilities, industrial customers and property owners, the transaction means more services from a single supplier and increased local presence. The combined organisation also gains greater capacity for both routine maintenance and more complex infrastructure projects.

“Our businesses complement each other naturally. Together, we can offer a wider range of services through an organisation with strong local presence and high technical competence. The acquisition also opens up new geographic areas where SERWENT has not previously operated, creating further opportunities for growth and an even broader customer offering.”

Alexis Brundin, Managing Director, SERWENT Sweden

Swoosh’s management team stays on

Swoosh’s management team will continue to play an important role in the development of the combined business. That gives customers and employees continuity, while allowing the organisation to draw on the experience and working methods of both companies.

“We have been looking for a partner that shares our values regarding quality, long-term commitment and customer relationships. In SERWENT, we found not only a strong industrial owner but also an organisation whose expertise complements our own. Together, we will have even greater opportunities to develop our business, invest in our employees and create additional value for our customers.”
